Charlie qualified as a Physiotherapist from University of Brighton and has gained experience and skills across a broad range of specialities including: respiratory, orthopaedic and stroke working in the NHS at Northampton General Hospital and in private practice.
Charlie works with with a variety of neurological conditions including Stroke, Parkinsons, MS, Brain Injury, FND and Spinal Cord Injury.
Charlie has experience in assessing clients for suitability with Exoskeletons (ReWalk and Freewalk), FES cycling, Turbomed and other technological adjuncts.
Charlie is based at Physiofunction Spratton, providing rehabilitation for individuals with neurological conditions.
He has a special interest in the rehabilitation of neuromuscular conditions with a hands-on exercise approach as well as the application of technological support. He is focused on working towards client’s goals to gain improvements in their day-to-day life.
Charlie is experienced and committed to working as part of a wider MDT which allows collaborative working with clients, carers and other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
Charlie also coordinates, supervises, mentors and carries out assessments of practice learning for our university placement students.
