A weakness down my right-hand side is the only lasting damage (of which I am having physio for), and now 6 years later, thanks to my wonderful medical team, I am almost back to living a normal life! Words cannot express the respect I have for the Medical Professionals. Without their expert skills, who knows what may have happened? I will be forever thankful to all these amazing people and my friends and family who have shown their tremendous love and support throughout my life.
I know I have been lucky enough to have been given a second chance and I’m going to make the most of that!

I took my mum (spinal cord injury at C4 incomplete - tetraplegic) to use the hydro pool with physio Michelle. What an absolutely amazing session, Michelle's knowledge of SCI was refreshing and both mum and I felt totally at ease with her. Mum had her injury last year, and to be able to get her in a pool and stimulate walking for the first time what an absolute miracle! Thank you so much x

We were signposted to PhysioFunction following diagnosis & surgery for
Glioblastoma brain tumour. Our family take independence
seriously, so when taken it was imperative to get back! PhysioFunction specialise in neurological rehabilitation
& this approach is challenging, but effective. With Claire’s help I am starting to regain sensation,
movement & mobility in affected limbs.
Brain damage from the tumour left me with aphasia (loss of
speech) & Claire gave me time & space to get my words out! Claire
is knowledgeable, friendly, experienced & professional.
During Covid the team have ‘been there’ for me! Thank-you so
much for zoom calls, face-to-face appointments &
recommendations of kit & exercise.
Our family wouldn't hesitate recommending PhysioFunction. Worth the money, time & are truly
dedicated to clients.

I cannot thank and praise PhysioFunction enough, especially Taher and Michelle, for everything they have done for me over the past two years. Spinal cord compression had resulted in me losing the use of my legs. I received emergency spinal surgery and subsequent radiotherapy but the prognosis was uncertain with no indication of how much mobility I may recover. I was fortunate to discover the PhysioFunction website and soon assessed by Taher to begin treatment. Both Taher and Michelle have been amazing, inspiring and encouraging every step of the way in my rehab. Their skills have helped put me back on my feet and now slowly and carefully walking with the aid of a stick.
Sincere thanks!
