As many of you know, the Chris Moody Centre which has been our home for 5 years has been sold to Daventry District Council to be developed as a leisure centre. This has coincided with a period of continued growth of our clinical services making a move inevitable.
We have found premises with space to grow further in a rural setting at Hawthorn Park, just outside Spratton village.
The site has extensive parking and has level access throughout with a view over the rolling hills of North Northamptonshire.
We have engaged an award-winning design company - Vision Projects to help us create a bespoke clinical facility in which we can further expand our rehabilitation services.
From the end of March, our team of highly skilled Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Sports Therapists and Physiotherapy Assistants will be welcoming clients - existing and new – to our new centre.
In addition to our state-of-the-art rehabilitation service that provides hands on therapy and innovative technology, we will be introducing new services that combine therapy with leisure opportunities.
Physiofunction will be the home of Doughability which is a community service for enabling individuals with a physical disability to learn or relearn baking skills, using adapted techniques and equipment - including Sourdough and other Artisan Breads.
We will be adding gardening and craft activities later in the year.
