PhysioFunction are running an AlterG Prescribers course on Saturday 12th October 2019 for Physiotherapists in the Northamptonshire/Bucks/Warwickshire Area.
Please read the following personal invite from Jon Graham, Clinical Director to learn more about the course and how to book.
I was pleased to have the opportunity to trial the AlterG® Anti-Gravity Treadmill® and after receiving successful feedback from both neurological and musculoskeletal clients, I recently added the AlterG to the range of clinical services offered at the Chris Moody Centre, Moulton College.
The AlterG device utilises NASA patented Differential Air Pressure (DAP) technology which applies a lifting force to the body, reducing weight on lower extremities and allows precise unweighting – up to 80% of a person’s body weight. Whether the client is someone with degenerative joint disease wanting to walk pain-free, a post-operative patient trying to get back to normal activity or a client with a neurological condition, the AlterG enables faster rehabilitation and safer conditioning.
The objective of the Prescribers Course will be to educate you on the benefits of the Alter G Technology, show you the device in action and explain how the technology can help you achieve the best rehabilitation outcomes for your clients.
If you attend the course, you will become an Alter G Prescriber and you will be able to prescribe clinically appropriate blocks of Alter G therapy with one of our AlterG Technical Exercise Instructors. This therapy session will work alongside your physio treatment programme – it will not be a replacement treatment option but a collaboration between us the ‘Technologist’ and you the ‘Physiotherapist’.
The course will take place at PhysioFunction on Saturday 12th October 2019.
Start time: 10am
Finish time: 3pm
Lunch and Refreshments will be provided.
This course will be free of charge, but booking is essential as we only have 16 places available.
Look forward to seeing you there!
Jon Graham, Clinical Director
